Bill Goldberg’s return to the ring, Daffney

The name of the promotion Bill Goldberg will be returning to the ring for at the “Rumble in the Jungle II” event is called AWPWM (USA to Africa Pro Wrestling Mission). Rick Bassman, the former promoter of UPW, is behind the event. Goldberg’s opponent had been listed at one point as former WWE star Dave Batista, but Goldberg made it clear via Twitter that Batista would not be appearing on the shows. The events are slated to begin in early October and finish on 10/12.

Former WCW and TNA star Shannon “Daffney” Spruill was arrested back in July a few miles from her home in Plant City, Florida on charges of DUI, property damage and failure to provide proof of insurance. Her blood alcohol test showed her at a 0.19, more than double the 0.08 allowed limit. Spruill is accused of doing an estimated $4,500 worth of damage in the collision. Former WWE and TNA star Michael Manna (Stevie Richards) bailed her out of jail posting a $500 bond.
